Relationship lines not looking right

Good morning,

Within the last 2 updates the relationship line son the model view are not behaving the way they used to.

The lines never went behind a tanle and there was always space between lines, both of which made it very easy to visualize your relationships.

Now they are all over the place, dissapearing behind tables and cramming next to each other making it impossible to see what goes where. See these 2 screenshots, I always had a complicated model, but now its a real mess. You can't see what line goes where and sometimes you can't even see what the relationship type is.

Hi @michaelu1 ,

This issue has been submitted internally. Please be patient to wait for fixing. If there is any news, I will update it here.

You can try to roll back to an older version of Power BI Desktop or manually adjust the spacing position of the model, etc.

Thank you!

I can't rollback and my model is too complicated for adjusting the tables, I tried...

Hopefully the update will come out soon!

Thank you!

Hi @Anonymous, it's now May 2025, but it doesn't seem this issue is resolved in current releases? The model view simply is a mess when lines go behind tables. For those of us with necessarily large star schemas / models, the model view has been unusable since Sep 2023. Please could you let us know what happened to the submitted issue?
