Visual Header Tooltip not showing in Service

Hi,

 

I add a tooltip page to visual header tooltip. It can be displayed in Power BI desktop as below. Hovering over, a tooltip window will pop up.

However, the tooltip does not pop up in Published Dashboard. I checked all the settings, changed browsers and cleared browser data. Nothing popped up.

According to the reply from product group, fix for this issue will be deployed into product environment region by region. It will be generally available in Service later March. Please be patient for the fix.

Hi there,

 

I have recently come across this problem also. I don't understand why the status has been marked as delivered when no fix has been applied?

 

Also, I have tried the suggested workaround, but this makes no difference - the help tooltip is still not appearing in the service.

I am also having the same issue, among many others after I updated the program. I'm tempted to roll back to the previous version that didn't have these bugs.

 

Please let me know when these fixes are available.

I am having the same problem.  

 

Reports with visual header tooltip configured to show a report page with help text no longer work properly.  They used to work fine in the power bi service and now they don't.  Nothing was changed in the report.  It works fine in the desktop and republishing to the service does not correct it.  

 

Please let me know when the fix is available.

Same issue noticed today. The visual header tooltips are working fine in PBI Desktop but only recently noticed they won't show in published report in PBI Service. Hoping this gets sorted soon.
