Visual Data Cache in Direct Query and Live Mode

In Direct query mode, while performing a filtering action (City = A)for the first time , it fetches the latest data from the data source (azure sql / Azure AS) , while changing (City = B) it gets latest data . This is fine.

But while changing back to (City = A) shows cache data with the previous query (not getting latest data for already performed action/filter )by that time underlying data has got changed in data source and not matching with Power BI. Is there a fix for this ?

Hi Ajil,

According to the information here, I think the behaviour is expected. Please refer to desktop-directquery-about#directquery-connections.

>>>Any changes to the underlying data will not be immediately reflected in any existing visuals. It is still necessary to Refresh, whereupon the necessary queries will be resent for each visual, and the visual updated as necessary.

Is this the scenario?
