Unable to refresh/load composite models in DirectQuery Mode

We are working with several composite models based on a PowerBI dataset. When we go to PowerBI Desktop and refresh the data of a report using a composite model, then we get the following 2 error messages:

Depending on the PowerBI dataset another formatstring measure seems to be conflicting. Why PowerBI adds these Format String measures automatically is also puzzling me.

We noticed this problem for the first time on Friday (17/02/2023)

Hi @Olha_Protsak ,

Wanted to ask you to share the version from Help -> About dialog and the error screenshot. Wondering if this is a different issue.

Thanks,

Dmytro

Here is my version.

Olha_Protsak_0-1677497074277.png

On Friday I get to resolve the permanent issue  by upgrading my Tabular Editor to the newest version 2.17.2
@Lorili Could you try it on your side and tell us if this helps?

Hi, @LudwigWoo,

Wanted to ask you to send the error message. So we can check if this is the same issue. Product Team fixed the original 'FormatString' error in QFE1 build.

Thanks,

Dmytro
