Unable to connect to SSAS, Pop up not leading to another page - for Microsoft account authentication

Error Message:
Unable to obtain authentication token using the credentials provided. If your Active Directory tenant administrator has configured Multi-Factor Authentication or if your account is a Microsoft Account, please remove the user name and password from the connection string, and then retry. You should then be prompted to enter your credentials.

For the authentication in SSAS, please refer:

Authentication methodologies supported by Analysis Services 

 

It depends on you have connected to SSAS tabular model or multidimensional models. You cannot use a Windows Claims token to access Analysis Services. Please try to clear the credentials in Power BI Desktop and provide username and password to check it.
