Hey guys,
I'm new to Power BI and I'm trying to build a Power BI Report for my team.
I want to use a treemap as a "filter" so that whenever we click on a value we can see the corresponding "Forecast vs Actuals" of the value we selected.
However, I'm running into an issue where the visualization doesn't update accurately when selecting 1 of the 5 values (note that it works as intended for the remaining 4...)
I have no idea why this happens and it's driving me nuts, could you help?
Here are 2 screenshots (all fictional data). When selecting "ERP" the bar chart moves and updates accurately but when selecting "W&A" the numbers get stuck and don't update. I have also included a screenshot of what "W&A" should actually look like (i tried with a normal slicer and it updates accurately but i'd really rather use the treemap as it's way cooler).
ERP Selection using treemap (OK)
W&A Selection using normal slicer (this is how I need it to look when selecting W&A via the treemap)
W&A Selection using treemap (Not OK)

Hi @RafaelSantos
It is not the general usage of Treemap visual. It is usually used to display hierarchical data. I have tested this issue based on your description in October 2021 Power BI Desktop and November 2021 Power BI Desktop.
If I click on items in Treemap visual, cross-filters work well.
I find that I only get this issue when setting filters for Treemap in Filters Pane. May I know whether you get this issue under the same circumstance as me?
Also, I do suggest you locking Selector filter in Filter Pane and only cross-filter your data by clicking on items in Treemap visual if you really want to use Treemap visual in that way.
