Text filter not working?

Have been having issues with text filter, tried redo-ing the tables and still did not work.

When keying in the data i want to search for in a column of unique values, the table refreshe but still shows the entire column how do i go about fixing that? tried searching for solutions online and still not working.

Hi @weiqit 

May I know whether your issue is that the data in your Table visual are not filtered when selecting a result that you searched in the Slicer?

Is this happening in Power BI Service or Power BI Desktop?

Have you ever edited interactions for your Slicer or Table visual?

I found out the reason why, it was due to the columns being read as whole numbers instead of text.

i made the changes in the tables and it worked after that. thank you for the reply though!
