Text fields need to be recreated when importing a new theme with a custom font.

Hello,

 

I noticed a bug when importing a new theme.

 

I am using a font in my new theme that is not one of Power BI's "default" fonts. When swapping over to the new theme, certain things like chart titles and text boxes do not inherit the new font. I can not even select the new font from the "Format" pane. So far the only fix appears to be to recreate those visuals from scratch.

Hi  @cbschley 

Which font did you use ? How did you swap over to the new theme ? Can you explain your steps in detail ? Which is your Desktop version ?

The font I use is "Futura PT Medium"

Using the "Customize Current Theme" feature in Power BI, I created a theme and saved it to my local drive. I opened the JSON file and was then able to modify the font to "Futura PT Medium".

 

I am using Windows 10 Enterprise, and the November 23' version of Power BI.
