Tags - Preview Feature

My team was hoping to evaluate the new Tags in Microsoft Fabric feature and the search functionality is not working.

 

Tags are applying properly to reports, and can be used to filter workspaces as expected, but they are not interacting with the global search at all.

 

We have waited >24 hours in case this is a delay in updating the global search.

This is my test

After the application was successful, I searched for test in the global search bar at the top in an attempt to find the item with the tag set, and unfortunately it was the same as yours (the system didn't return the lakehouse).

But when I use the search box in one of the workspaces it works fine.

 Not sure if this is “by design” , I suggest you create a support ticket for more help.
