Standard map objects are not working

Existing reports that use the standard map objects are not loading. Just come out as blank. I have checked across multiple reports both in the web and desktop, but doesnt seem to work anywhere. Also confirmed with other colleagues in company and they have the same problem. Is this a known issue? and will it be fixed promptly?

@v-yetao1-msft, I can see the map but it isn't detecting the states. It had detected before, but now it is showing just blank map.

Now:

I have checked it, no problem in the values under column, 'State'. Some issue in power BI. Kindly correct it asap. Thank you.

Our map visuals are now visable again however we have areas highlighted in Georgia for a number of our customers, all with UK postcodes. There seems to be no corellation between the postcodes showing at this location for different customers.

Hi @v-yetao1-msft,
I am still having issues with UK locations being highlighted in Georgia that should not be. Both on the service and in desktop. I've tried on both 'map' and 'filled map' visuals and the issue is persistant on both.

@AHeyman have you tried setting the Geocoding culture setting to en-GB ?

I was having this similar problem you described and this fixed it.

@JasonBrooks Thank you for the suggestion but unfortunately changing the Geocoding setting from auto to en-GB doesn't fix the issue for me.

Hi

I am still having problems with this. The 'desktop app' shows me a complete set of data, whereas the 'service' shows me a limited set of data (see below).

My team has the same problem today. This visual

seems to be broken. Any ideas as what is happening?

Burgos.jpgDear community,

I am preparing a report using a map to display the information. Due to ambiguity with some of the name locations I decided to use the coordinates, but I am completely puzzled since it is showing Spanish cities (decribed by coordinates, not name) in locations as far as Lituania (see the picture)... What is going on? Any suggestions on how to make it work properly? I actually wonder if that is the problem behind so many issues I see posted where the information does not appear at all... As a suggestion, maybe it is mistakenly showing on the other side of the world and people are not even aware of it...

Thanks in advance!
