Script runtime error - Custom R visual running fine on desktop, not functioning when published

I have an R visual, that I've tried to implement both as a custom visual, and just by using the code in the official "R script visual".

Both solutions work perfectly on PowerBI Desktop, but I get the follwoing error when I publish them (I have the PPU license, which should work fine with R visuals, I believe):

I've tried multiple fixes, but nothing so far.

Now this might as well be an issue on my side, but "An error occured while running the script" is extremely generic, and hard to investigate.

Can anyone help me with the solution or at least point me in a direction?

We have seen on the internal platform that other engineers have reported this issue and submitted it.
The engineers on the product team are now aware and will do their best to resolve the issue. I will update here if there is any progress. Thanks for your patience.
