Hi there,

My Powerbi desktop did crash today and I cannot get it back to work anymore. I followed the solution on previous tickets, fully removed PBI form my laptop, downloaded the newest version and installed it again, restarted my laptop multiple times, but I was not successfull. Once the error message was slightly different and stated some registry issue as well

 I checked these solutions, not worked.

I've a new pc. I download the new version and now all it's ok.

I managed to resolve the issue at our local helpdesk by manually removing all files as the un-install does not remove these, so we manually deleted the following folders from my laptop

C:\Users\(your own id)\AppData\Local\Power BI

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Power BI Desktop

So this can be closed from my side too

In my case i disable preview features and now it works fine.

I've received a new pc, so I've installed the latest version, so all is ok!!!

But now, there is the new update, and I'm a litte worried to download and install it!!!!

Has someone already done it????
