Role Filter

I've encounter a problem while I tried to define role by table filter. It return to me an error message.

Is this happening in PBI Desktop or PBI Service ?You mentioned that you are getting this error while defining the role, can you demonstrate in detail what you are doing? Or can you restore the issue by creating a simple sample? I need specific data to restore your scenario, which will help me test the issue better.

Hi Ailsa and thanks for your support,

It happens on PBi desktop and always on third and forth sections of the table. First and second section the filter DAX expression registered correctly but on third and forth same filter on "Entreprise" dysfunction and not appears ? Names are correct. What happens ?

And I can't type anything on grey window,

On tables 1 and 2, I be able to type that and it's works well :

What is the soluce for a future report ?

Hi @Myrmelia 

Is this your tables ? Is the table connected to another data source?Live connection mode data sources do not support setting up RLS on Desktop.

Yes, it's my tables, the data source is an xls file which is located on my PC disk, not another ones,
