Report Page Tooltips not loading

Hello everyone 🙂
Sadly my Report Page Tooltip is not working as expected. The first Tooltip always works fine, but once I hover over another card (they all have different filters) it keeps displaying the loading screen, while you can see that the blurry data is loaded correctly already. This problem does not arise when using Power BI Desktop, but only when I use Power BI Service and the MS Teams Reports.

Even after 5 minutes, it still keeps loading. So it has to be a bug, I think.

This has still not been fixed as far as I can see (as at Monday 7th October).

I just tried (approx. 9:30 AM MDT on 10/7/2024) some of our reports and the tooltips are working now!

The problem is now fixed, if you still have problems try clearing your browser cache.

The issue still persists for me as well. Clearing the browser cache doesn't resolve it either, unfortunately.

Similar Issue here.

Report does not load Tooltip for Visuals that Use Parameter Column Selector + another measure for ErrorBar/Target. If I change the field, it would work for other fields without ErrorBar (lowest-higgest values) but once I select one that usses errorBar it shows previous values( that are wrong values)

It works fine in desktop App but once I publish it it stops working.

The issue still persists for me as well.

Tooltips are working fine on PBI Desktop and PBI Service but not in embedded reports. 

On embedded reports, tooltips load all okay first time round then when a bookmark / slicer etc.. is applied all we get is 'Loading report page tool tip' and it hangs there.
I have tried clearing cache / republishing reports, differents browsers etc and the issue still persists.

This issue has been persistent for sometime now and is affecting customer reports in production and stopping further releases into production with customers now rightly so getting very annoyed over this.

This issue is also occurring for us, and, echoing @VVINSON, it only appears to occur on embedded reports and not on the Desktop or Service. 

A report I developed uses several Report Page Tooltips and they will only intermittently load. As above, they often load initially but then fail to load in subsequent iterations. I've noticed that if I apply slicers or click between pages, I can sometimes induce the Report Page tooltips to load, but it seems very intermittent. 

Echoing other users, this is unfortunately proving frustrating to users who rely on the tooltips to provide key information on how to use and important information in the report.

Hoping this information may help with a fix!

I can also confirm that this issue still exists with the embedded reports. The tooltip usually works when the report is opened, but after some time it stops working and is getting stuck on "loading report page tooltip" and it will NEVER load the tooltip. When I move the cursor away from the visual and try again, then sometimes the tooltips loads instantly again.  However sometimes I need to move the cursor back and forth several times in order it to start working again.  After it starts working it will randomly get stuck on loading again and I have to repeat the "dance" with cursor to load the tooltip. 

This has huge negative impact on the usability of the reports! Please look into this!
