I also submitted this as an idea, but this seems to be the place for issues to go- see my screenshot to see why I'm confused and would submit it in two places.
When connecting to a Postgres DB, I can't use a connection pool (PG Bouncer) because PowerBI sends the 'ssl_renegotiation_limit' parameter, which was deprecated 7 major versions ago in Postgres. It should not be sending this parameter, this is a huge bug and prevents users from using a connection pool. I am suggesting that Microsoft patch their native postgres connector and get rid of this ancient parameter which isn't used in any modern version of Postgres.
