Refresh error - MySQL: Fatal error encountered during data read.

Hi, 

I have been experiencing a refresh issue for the past few days. The issue i am experiencing is "Cannot connect to the mashup data source. See error details for more information." "MySQL: Fatal error encountered during data read."

This issue is impact many reports, but not all reports connected to this data source are experiencing this. If all reports connected to this data source were impacted, i would assume it was the data source. 

Has anyone experienced this, if so what can resolve this.

Hi @Mk2018,

1. Please update your gateway to the latest version 3000.0.144.3 then test again. 

2. If issue persists, please share detail error information you found in Refresh History with us.

Also please provide gateway log files:https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-gateway-onprem-tshoot#tools-for-troubleshooting

Just an update - Upgrading to the latest gateway version resolved this issue.
