Publish to web: Full-screen not working in IE11

To reproduce:

1. Use Publish to web to obtain the web-URL

2. Open the report via publish to web URL in IE11

3. Select full-screen (bottom right)

Result:

Report is shown in the upper left corner, in a very small size. See screenshot below. Please note that the screenshot only contains the upper left quarter of my screen. I've added text below the screenshot to distinguish it from the white background of this post. Also, note the mouse pointer in the screenshot for scale.

Hi @henrikj,

I can't reproduce it. Maybe you can try to delete the embedded code and publish it again. Could you please provide more details?

BTW, my IE version is: 11.192.16299.0

My version is 11.850.15063.0. This issue seems to be present for all users in our organization. I've placed the About window adjacent to the full screen report in the screenshot below. This report is a simple demo report without any custom visualizations. Public link is https://app.powerbi.com/view?r=eyJrIjoiYzg4MjRiNjAtODE5OC00ZmUyLTgzOGMtMzFiMTNjYTQ4M2NlIiwidCI6IjU2N...

Hi @henrikj,

Please refer to this video. Can you try it with a very simple html page?

<!DOCTYPE html>

<html lang="en" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
<head>
    <meta charset="utf-8" />
    <title>Embed a Publish to web url in an iframe</title>
</head>
<body>
    <iframe height="768px" width="1600px" src="***********"></iframe>
</body>
</html>

The issue persists when I use the simple embed code the simple demo code.

See https://1drv.ms/v/s!Amcu7zEkcA3Ko-R5-eo7zbl5VgOeKw for a full-screen video recording (IE11).

Hi @henrikj,

I found the cause. The workaround for now is deleting "allowFullScreen="true"" in the embedding code. Since IE is deprecated. I will report this issue to the Product Team to investigate more. One suggestion is using Edge instead.

Dale
