I have a data model built into my excel spreadsheet with multiple tables that use a date field. Inside of PowerPivot, I used the create calendar feature, and then I linked all of my tables to the new calendar. When I create a pivot, the date parameters work fine. But when I try to make a timeline slicer, I get the error "Microsoft Excel can't create a timeline because it can't get the required date field information."
What gives?
