For reference, I just took the title from this question, https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Developer/PowerBi-RLS-with-embedded-analytics-spaces-in-username-pa..., but I am curious about the "why".
I know that spaces in the username was supported in the past, and am wondering if this was just an oversight that we can hope to be resolved in the future, or if there is some technical reason that spaces (and some other characters) cannot be supported for the username in the EffectiveIdentity object that is sent to GenerateTokenInGroup.
Thanks.
