Hi,

According to the error screenshot you posted, it seems that you met this error when you have done some changes in the Power query and click on the “Close and apply” to apply it to the Power BI. I suggest you to go back to the Power query to simply change the column name of “fldemployee_number” to “fldemployee_number1” to check if the problem can disappear.

Thank you very much!

while the message does make it appear that it occurred during a query, it actually occurred while importing the three tables (tblemployees -the only table with fldemployee_number, tblsales, & tblcustomer_pos).  The sales and pos tables have foreign keys that form relationships with the employee table, but there is only one field in the entire Access DB with the field fldemployee_number.

Hi,

Did your dataset has any other data source imported before you import the data from MS Access? I also suggest you to change the field name of column [fldemployee_number] to import the data again to check if the problem can disappear.
