Power BI data refreshfailure

I have a dataset with 40 lakh rows. the refresh of the dataset finally shows in the dialog as 40,824 rows but the commit of the whole thing does never happen. If I close or cancel, the finally number of rows which gets committed is 39 lakhs only. what could be the reason?

Please consider that:

  1. The data size of the dataset that you can try to cut the data size for the same dataset to test and optimize, or try to use incremental refresh for it, see: Incremental refresh for datasets and real-time data in Power BI - Power BI | Microsoft Docs
  2. If you have configured power bi gateway for the dataset, consider whether there are multiple progresses which have been set to refresh at the same time range with the dataset
  3. If the refresh not complete, whether there is any error message about it or just keep refresh for a long time and have no response
