[Power BI Service] Custom Connector Data Sources Credentials Fail Login

We have created an Oauth 2.0 based custom dataset connector that is operating as expected on Power BI Desktop. After publishing and connecting via the gateway to access online, the Dataset complains that the credentials are invalid.

When then attempting to signin on the online Power BI the process cuts off (closes the popup window) during redirect_uri (https://oauth.powerbi.com/views/oauthredirect.html) that come with the authentication code and the credentials remain invalid.

Main goal is to get connected and able to utilize the scheduled refresh feature.
