Power BI (Free) access problem

Good day guys,
There is a problem in our powerBI free subscription, it almost mandates the user to upgrade the subscription into power BI pro, though we used power BI free for access viewing only, then suddenly pops a message to upgrade the subscrition and not proceeding in the power BI reports pages.

Hi @NMP02 ,

I think you have misunderstood the usage of the Power BI Free license, which only allows users to work on things in their own personal sandbox and cannot be interacted with or shared with other users.
Unless the report is in a workspace hosted in Premum capacity, Free users will not be able to access and view the report properly. They need to purchase a Power BI Pro license.

If you want Free users to access and view reports without purchasing Power BI Pro, you will need to purchase an additional Power BI Premium P SKU.

Hello Ms. Caitlyn,

does this powerBI premium trial does not affect/trigger that king of feature??

because if we need to upgrade the owner of the workspace to premium for the other members with free subscrition will view the reports without upgrading it into powerBI Pro?? Am I understanding it right??

Hello - I am having the same issue as NMP02.

I have about 5 customers who all access different Power BI reports suddenly being prompted to Upgrade their Power BI to Power BI Pro.

Their workflows have not changed - all have been accessing specific reports, some for a year or so before now being prompted to upgrade.
