While I am refreshing a Data Flow on the Service, by local PBI Desktop program struggles to load the preview of a local excel file in the power query window.  As in, takes 10+mins to load the preview. 

 

This makes no sense - one uses the Gateway (on this computer), the other uses the mashup engine - or am I missing something.
