Performance issue while refreshing from Power BI desktop.

I have 54Lakhs records in Power BI report which comes from SQL table. When loaded records first time loaded in 30 min but when I try to refresh report after changes done in desktop it's taking more than 1 hour and after that got stuck at 53Lakhs records. Could you please sugguest me any alternate approach to mitigate this issue.

Hi @Shrutika, 

 

You can limit useful data and visuals, optimize data model to improve performance. Also you can check which query takes long time to execute via SQL profiler. For detail information, you can refer to this document: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/power-bi-reports-performance

I am using huge data as I need to show trend for last six months. And this much data is expected for it.
