PBIB format stops publishing from desktop

Trying the preview feature - once the file has been saved to the PBIB project format, "Publish" is not available.  You have to resave it as the standard file format and then publish.  It's likely at some point you will forget to save as Project file, get out of sync with the project (and version control) with changes made only in the standard format.

Save is required before every publish, so that should be done in project format, then the publish process should automatically convert the file back to pbix and publish that, if the service cannot handle the PBIB format yet.

If you want to publish report to Service , you can save the report as pbix file .
