Unable to stop auto date/time load
Since the release of the project files preview, I am unable to unselect auto date/time from the options menu on new projects. I can deselect the tick-box but the 'okay' button to confirm just greys out when clicked and the menu does not close. Left with no choice to use cancel or X, so the change never applies. I'm not sure why this has been set as delivered Anonymous - I understand the preview has GIT integration, but it is only through Azure Devops - my suggestion is that GitHub/GitHub enterprise accounts are also allowed to be the GIT provider: You cannot currently chose anything other than Azure, isn't that right?PBIB format stops publishing from desktop
Trying the preview feature - once the file has been saved to the PBIB project format, "Publish" is not available. You have to resave it as the standard file format and then publish. It's likely at some point you will forget to save as Project file, get out of sync with the project (and version control) with changes made only in the standard format. Save is required before every publish, so that should be done in project format, then the publish process should automatically convert the file back to pbix and publish that, if the service cannot handle the PBIB format yet.Re: Share your thoughts on DirectQuery for Power BI datasets and Azure Analysis Services (preview)
Hi - really pleased when this blog announcement came out. I had every user who needed access to anything as a Member of the Premium workspace. I've changed them all to Viewers but now multiple users are only seeing an error on any visualisation from 1 'base' dataset that's part of the composite model. They can see visualisation from the others datasets that make up the model in the same reports, just not that one. That report set is published by another user, from a SQL database, to the workspace. Thanks for this, I've just started getting the same bug and couldn't work out what it meant - for me it happened when I tried to build a new report on top of the working model, any refresh of the new one hit this error message, while the old one carried on working.Re: How to get data from Dynamics 365 Marketing Insight?
Hi, I've just looked into this today - from this Microsoft explainer: "Interaction data is stored in the marketing-insights service database and includes information about how your contacts interacted with your marketing initiatives, including email opens, email clicks, event registrations, page submissions, and more. You can see this type of information when you look at the insights built into Dynamics 365 Marketing, but you can't create these records nor view them directly. In the current release, you'll use the Power BI "Azure Blob Storage" connector for this type of data. In future releases, you'll also be able use the dataflow connector.
