Hi all,
We are currently running into problems while trying to export our PBI reports as a PDF. Some rows in tables aren't high enough, and as a result the data (text) is truncated (see image below).
Our data is composed of a series of excel spreadsheets located in a sharepoint site, which contains multiple rows of text (updates on a number of issues etc.). We import that data via the SharePoint.Contents function in the power query editor. That data is then presented in the report via table visualizations. Sometimes the data is a relatively large chunck of text, and at occasions the text includes line return, simulating bullet points. It seems that truncated rows are related to data entries with line returns.
I have noticed that this problem does not occur on my PBI version (2.87.762.0 64). I suspect it has to do with latest updates.
Has anybody ran into the same issues, and found a fix for it? We seem to have found a way around by exporting PowerPoints via the web portal, and then exporting PDFs from powerpoint. This procedure is however a bit lengthy and I would prefer being able to rely on the PDF export from the desktop application.
Best!
Camille
