I have been having this issue for quite some time now and have seen lots of other people with the same problem, but apparently no resolution: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/DataSource-Error-MySQL-Host-is-blocked-because-of-many/m-p/.... The issue is that some connections won't refresh and the following error occurs.
DataSource.Error: MySQL: Host 'xxx.xx.xxx.xx' is blocked because of many connection errors; unblock with 'mysqladminflush-hosts'
It is temporarily fixed by refreshing the dataset, but many users (myself included) seem to be getting the issue again every few days, and having to ask the sys admins to flush hosts every time.
Is there anything that can be done about this issue?
