Monthly date slicer showing first day of month sporadically on powerbi.com

Hi,

Have a grouped Monthly field on the Date field on our dimDate table.

Have used this approach for many reports for many months with no issue.

All of a sudden the monthly date selector is defaulting to the first day of the month.

Has anyone seen similar or can advise on a fix.

Clicking Reset filters addresses the issue temporarily but this is not acceptable to ask end users to do.
