Manage access within the workspace

I recently realized that it is possible to give direct access to a semantic model using email group, but it is not possible to use email group to give access to report and paginated report. Was it supposed to be like this or is this a bug?

Also, is it really not possible to remove direct access to a report from a role that has workspace viewer permission?

Thanks

Hi @IsabellaFranco ,

In Power BI, you can give direct access to a semantic model using an email group.

You can share an individual report within the workspace to specific users. Those users will be able to see that report but not the other reports in the workspace. If you add them to the workspace, then they can see all the reports in that workspace. But, they cannot be members of the workspace.

if a role has workspace viewer permission, it’s not straightforward to remove direct access to a report.
