Measures not created in AAS tabular model cant be added in power BI service edit mode

Hi Guys 

Set up:

AAS Tabular Model

Power BI service in edit mode 

Dax measures created in power BI desktop

Problem:

Measures not created in AAS tabular model cant be added in power BI service edit mode.

Example I build a AAS Tabular model with measures included. I then to extend the functionality of the model add additional custom measures in power BI desktop. I then publish to the service, In power BI service in edit mode, when I attempt to add my custom measures to any visuals they are not being accepted into the visual.

May I know what’s the connection mode of your report? Is it Import mode or Live Connection mode?

You mean you couldn’t add your measure to your visual but not Filter pane? What’s the visual related to this issue? Where are you trying to add this measure to? Values of your visual?

If you switch to other browser, will you encounter same issue?

Thank you for your reply.
Its a live connection to a AAS instance
The measure cant be added to values well.
The well will highlight as if its ready to accept the measure but it does not go in
All visuals effected I have tested a few(Table, matrix, Slicer.
Yes tested with a another broweser. I currently use Chrome but also tested on Edge same issue.
Only measures built into the actual tabular model work fine.
This process worked fine in the service before.
