Mapping issue

I still have problems with a map visualisation on the webpage using iframe.

As You can see in video at this link: https://cl.ly/223t1v2p3K03, there are issue with loading the data on the map in the different web browsers (IE, Firefox, only in Chrome there were no problems, but it is only on this PC...in others PC I have been tested, there are the same issue in Chrome too.). Firstly, data displays very slow. Secondly, after refreshing the webpage, a part of data not displaying at all, and displayed data has incorrect information (Location, City name etc.). In PowerBi Desktop and online versions, there are no such problems. In sharepoint, data also displays incorrectly, but in different way. It is pre-defineted to display only current year data, but after report is loaded, there are all previous years data have been displayed too. Only after uncheck/check current year in the visual, helps to display correct data.

Network connection test results.

Here are browsers current versions: Image 2018-03-16 at 9.28.17 AM.pngImage 2018-03-16 at 9.28.36 AM.pngImage 2018-03-16 at 9.29.52 AM.png

This issue started in January. Previously, all was fine and there were no changes in PowerBI report file.

Please, help to solve this problem.

Best regards,

Andrew

Hi @AndrewL,

From your video, it seems that the report is embedded via publish to web feature, right?

1. Please run the same report in Power BI service to see if the map visual load slowly.

2. Does the report get data from data sources in Import mode or DirectQuery and live connection? If it's DirectQuery or live connection, the report performance will depend on underlying data source. See: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/power-bi-reports-performance

Hi,

Yes, the report is embedded via publish to web.

I have tried to run the same report in the PowerBI desktop and online versions, and there was the same problem. I tried to use different data sources ( direct link from Sharepoint / choosing Excel file from the PC Desktop), but result was the same - data was loading very slowly. Furthermore, if I restart the web page after data is loaded, a part of data points not displayed at all, and ohter part has wrong information, if I check one of the points on the map (city name, latitude, longitude etc.).
