KPI Visual formatting issue

I noticed copile of times it happened, making change to KPI visual color direction form "high is good" to "low is good" in PBI Descktop but after publishing it didn't retain the change.

Have you refreshed the browser after you republished the updated report to the Power BI service?

According to my test, all works fine here:

Therefore, I suggest you to clear the cache of your browser and update your desktop version to the latest and check if it can work normally again.
