Issue with Card Visual Layout After November Power BI Desktop Update

Hello,

The November update of Power BI Desktop messed up the metrics and visuals in my new card visual. It happened with the image in the callout, and the reference labels had their layout changed, no longer keeping the spacing I wanted. This is really frustrating because the users who view the report daily (including the bosses) are not getting the metrics they need.

Could you please provide a fix or workaround for this problem?

Thank you for your support.
Just a sample image for your reference.

En plus de la modification du comportement des nouvelles cartes, j'ai également le problème lors de la création d'une nouvelle carte avec image, cela fonctionne sur le pbi desktop mais l'image n'apparaît pas après publication, avez-vous également ce problème ?

When I look at my visual I have 18 measures in the layout. Everything lines up perfectly in Desktop. When I post To Power BI Workspace all the number get shifted down.

@BumKneesOhYeah This is expected if you are not using at least SU11 Desktop. The card visual was updated in SU11 Desktop and the service. If you use SU10 or earlier you will see the preview state of the card and when published it's now using the GA state of the card visual. Only SU11 and higher Desktop will also have the GA state of the card visual.

@martinou34 The changes to the service are likely not in your region just yet. Should be within a few days and then it will automatically start showing.

The docs are in process of being updated with more guidance on how to adjust cards used during preview: https://learn.microsoft.com/power-bi/visuals/power-bi-visualization-card

We have two blogs on the changes:

1. Preparing for the General Availability of the new Card visual | Microsoft Power BI Blog | Microsoft ...

2. New Card visual in reports (Generally Available) | Microsoft Power BI Blog | Microsoft Power BI

And in the meantime, I have posted a FAQ here: https://www.datazoe.blog/post/new-card-visual-preview-to-ga-impact-faq

Also, I have a post on LindedIn with pictures on the reference labels, where to adjust your images, and where the legacy cards went: https://www.linkedin.com/posts/zoedouglas-data_new-card-visual-walkthrough-activity-7397504862537756...

1. The layout of Reference labels messed up the whole layout of Card Visual (consuming to much space of the card). Cannot recover by tweaking all the settings including the paddings. 2. The Reference label has the individual settings for background colors now. But it is white by default so all the current conditional formattings were 'cleared'. It should retain the default conditions formatting of the Callout BY DEFAULT.

Microsoft.. OH MY GOD this bug is now in live in all of our reports. Please roll this back as soon as possible!!! Last week was manageable as we were able to mitigate damage and not show it to live report app experience but this is a disaster now.
