Issue: Excel Data Duplication When Published To Service

Has anyone else experienced the issue of data duplication when you publish a Power BI report from the desktop to the service?

 

I have a table which only has a Many-One relationship with a date table, in the desktop app i recieve the correct values but when i publish the report to the service the duplication occurs.

 

Previously i have inserted an index column into the Excel file then removed duplicates on that column within Power BI which does the trick but it's confusing especially since only happens after publishing.

I think it’s better if you can share some screenshots of your issue in detail.

What’s more, would you like to post a download link of the pbix file with this issue without the sensitive data if it’s possible and we can help you to check if it’s an existing issue in the Power BI?

I also suggest you to make sure you have updated to the latest version of the Power BI desktop.
