Internal Service Error

I've been receiving the following error consistently with a report that works fine on desktop:

 

"The last refresh attempt failed because of an internal service error. This is usually a transient issue. If you try again later and still see this message, contact support. Please try again later or contact support. If you contact support, please provide these details."

I've tried everything I can think of with the desktop file (updating credentials, etc), but I've yet to find a solution. Is there any way for me to dig deeper into this error to see where it's coming from?

Upgrade the gateway to the latest version, and also try to publish the dataset again.

Thank you for the advice!

 

I have tried the following with no success:

  • Delete the dataset and associated reports/dashboards off the Service Workspace
  • Clear and re-enter all of the permissions for the desktop file
  • Republish and re-enter permissions on Service, and then refresh

The data in question is already stored within the cloud, so no gateway is being used. Should I be using one?
