Intermittent 'Unrecognizable fields in this visual' error

I'm getting reports from different users that they can't see certain data visuals in the Power BI service reports and instead are getting an error message 'Unrecognized fields in this visual'.  However, when I go to the same report, I am not getting that message and am able to see the reprot and its data.  What's interesting, people are having the same issue on different report tabs, while some are having an issue on tab A other can see the data on tab 'A' but can't see tab 'B' data and are getting the error message.

Have you defined any RLS role on the dataset for these users? If it is, please use Test as Role feature to see if the same issue occurs: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-admin-rls#validating-the-role-within-the-power-bi-...
