Icons/Images in new slicer no longer working

There is a bug with new PBI release. The icons added to new slicer with measure having binary code has stopped working. It has affected desktop and the service. While you can restore them in desktop, they won't work in service. Please PBI team, check this out

First of all what version of Desktop are you applying? Secondly, you mentioned that the icons added to new slicer with measure having binary code has stopped working . Can you explain it in detail ? What is the measure you added ? What should a normal working condition look like ? Or can you provide a pbix file (remove sensitive info) to help us verify this?

I have the same problem since 2-3 weeks with the new slicer. In PowerBi desktop the images show as they suppose to, but in web I get this (images not visible):

I load the images in rows based on a switch statement (column) in base64 (starting with:

data:image/png;base64,) and explicit choose first image.

It worked perfectly until a few weeks ago. I did not change anything to the DAX or other settings. When I download a new PBIX and open it in desktop, it works as it should.

The problem stil exists. Replacing base64 images to image url does fix the problem, but base64 should also work (but gives blanks).
