Grant permissions to user for a report in Post API Request

Hello,

Why is there the possibility granted permissions for Dataset in API and not for reports?

The dataset is more secure than the reports actually..

I don't quite understood your issue . What is the function you want to achieve? And what are the features that can actually be used? Can you explain it in detail ?
