Gateway is unable to connect with MySQL through encrypted connection

As subject described, when use enterprise gateway to configue, it shows below error message.

Is there any official document telling such encrypted connection is not supported?  And how to solve the problem?

Please refer this document: MySQL database 

To solve this issue, you can change the Connection Encryption type to 'Not encrypted' in gateway settings.
