Failed to connect to the url https //api.powerbi.com while attempting to call cluster resolution

Hi,

I'm getting 'failed to connect to the url https //api.powerbi.com while attempting to call cluster resolution' error when i'm trying to open the .odc file in Excel 2013. 

Power Bi Analyse in Excel error

Tried reinstallting etc... nothing worked.

Power BI desktop is working fine from the same machine with the same user account. 

Any idea what is wrong with Analyse in Excel?

I encounter the same issue only on Windows 7 machines... on WIN 10 it works

This is definately a windows 7 problem as it is related to Microsoft enforcing better security TLS 1.2 in Power BI which has been occuring over the last month.

Use MCzai fix:

But note that you need to make sure you have KB314025 installed:

Also have the same exact problem with 3 different users, all who had been connecting using Analyze in Excel to these reports just fine for months (years even).

I have the same "Failed to connect to the URL 'https://api.powerbi.com' while attempting to call cluster resolution" Analyse in Excel issue from Windows 10 and Excel 365.
