Exporting summarized data is not working on Power BI service

I have been using exporting summarized data option for years with no issues but it stopped working all of a sudden.

All I see is "Column1" and no data is included. How can I fix it? Thank you.

Hi @nait ,

 

I can reproduce your problem and in order to better help with this fix, we need to gather a bit of information.
1.Your PBI cluster location
2.Your PBI Service version

Hi. I am experiencing the exact same issue as @nait for reports that haven't been modified for a while, this export option suddenly stopped working. First time we noticed was on Jan 25th.


Cluster  - WABI-UK-SOUTH-B-PRIMARY

Service version - 13.0.19958.49

 

Let me know if there's any updates, looks like a bug

Try selecting option : .xlsx (Excel 150,0000- rowmax) . it should work

@nait: Power BI has recently (mid-January 2023) launched a feature of exporting data using live connected Excel files.

Open the exported file and click on Enable Editing

then click Enable Load

After this, data will be loaded. As it is a live connected Excel file, it will create an Excel connection and load the data on Enable Load option.
