Existing Power BI reports are not working with new Power BI version (July 2024) update desktop mode.

We are not able to connect to existing Power BI reports in desktop mode with the new Power BI July version update.

We are connected in Direct Query mode with Snowflake.

We are getting this below mentioned error.

The same reports are working fine when we re-installed the old versions like April and May.

Has anyone faced any similar issues with the new version update?

Hi @ShekharKr

If it's creating a new connection to Snowflake, does it report this error? What is the version number of the Desktop you are currently using?

I am having similar issues. In my case, while trying to connect to Snowflake i end up with a timeout. My version is: 2.131.901.0 64-bit (July 2024). Returning to April also works for me.

I also see the issue using Version: 2.131.1126.0 64-bit (July 2024)
