Hi Peter,

Do you receive any feedback? I cannot connect sql server to power bi as well, I tried two server, one could be connected, another cannot. I don't know if you have same issue.

Thanks

No, and its happening in different dashboards in different tenants. My PC is running the latest version of Win 11 and PBI Desktop. The fact that you are seeing this is well makes me think its a service issue. I'm still getting the same error now...

I fixed my issue, by uninstall powerbi and install powerbi agian, you could try if it works for you!

Hope that could fix your problem.

Hi @Peter_Schmidt ,

May I know whether you get this issue when connecting to Dataverse and SQL Server data sources? Did you do any operations before you get this issue?

According to the logs from you, it shows that you have enabled PBI_enableWebView2. Could you please try the following step to see whether you still will have problems?

Go to File>Options and Settings>Options>Preview features>Untick Power BI infrastructure update and restart Power BI.

I uninstalled and re-installed PBI Desktop and it seems to be working again now.

In my job I need to swap between tenants as I am logged in to my PC using my MS employee credentials and also using a12mth demo tenant and a business tenant. I'm not sure if this is a factor and the connectors are caching credentials? Anyway I seem to be up and running again now...
