Error while connecting to Azure Databricks

Hi,

I am using PowerBI Destktop and Azure Databricks connector and followed all steps posted online (using the connection details from Databricks cluster)

We encountered an error while trying to connect to the databricks

Details: "ODBC: ERROR [HY000] [Microsoft][ThriftExtension] (14) Unexpected response from server during a HTTP connection: Could not resolve host for client socket.."

Any suggestions here will be really helpful

Hi  @Anonymous ,

The latest PBI Desktop version is 2.122.1066.0. Please download the latest version by this link and try again.

Please check your credential in Data source setting in Power BI Desktop.

1.Find Data source setting.

2.Find your Azure databricks credential.

3.Select edit permission, Select edit credential, Enter the AAD accout again. Make sure the AAD account you enter has permission to your data source.

4. Connect again.

And please check whether your Sever name and Http Url is right in datasource.

For more details about how to connect to Azure databricks in PBI Desktop, you may refer to this video.

Or you can try to connect to data source by personal access token.

Best regards.
