Error when trying to change text to date

I tried to change the text based date field to date, but I receive the following error message. My colleague could do the same, so I am not sure why I can't do the same.

I tried to reinstall PowerBI desktop, but it happened again.

What is the column data like, could you please give a screenshot for the changed column? Could you please check if some of the text values are not date in the same column?

Can your colleague do the same with same PBIX file and same PBI Desktop version?

I am not sure what has happened since I posted this, but yesterday morning it worked as it supposed to work and still working just fine.
