Error publishing after enabling Preview Feature: DirectQuery for Power BI datasets

I can connect and create a live connection to this Power BI dataset.  I am able to publish to any of my available workspaces.  As soon as I update the report and add a local model I am no longer able to publish to any of my workspaces.  I tested this with a blank report, no visuals, no additional connections, just simply changing to a local model.

 

The error I am getting is

I tried the latest version (2.88.1144.0) and it seems to work fine for me. Besides, You may keep an eye on the Awareness.
