Different Visual Output between PowerBI Desktop and PowerPoint Tile

Hi all,

Very strange thing here. I'd like to visualize my project locations. Saudi Arabia is shortened as SA and shown correctly on desktop app and the web, but in PowerPoint, it places the pin on South Africa. Databases are the same, values are the same, same visual, same abbreviation... How come?

Hi @Pleojera

I have a couple questions need to confirm:
1. What kind of map are you using?
2. Are you exporting in image or live data format?
3. Have you encountered similar problems before? Are the other areas displaying correctly except for SA?

Hi @v-yetao1-msft

1. Default map visual by microsoft.

2. Live data format.

3. No, first time saw with this. All the others work fine.

Edit: I was just checking now to reply to this message.

Now it seems both PowerPoint and PowerBi desktop version matching. Did you make an update to fix the issue?
