Date Culture change when report published to service in slicers

When I publish a report in the service the culture of the date format of the date values in the slicer changes to US.

For example if I have a date slicer on desktop it will display in D/M/YYY format, when it is in the service it will be in M/D/YYYY format.

I am unsure if this is a bug, however if it is intended behaviour is there any way to set the culture of the field when used within a slicer.

Hi @Anonymous,

The date slicer on Power BI service displays date format based on browser language. Assume you use the Chrome browser, you can set the language as UK like below then relaunch the browser.
